XML Customizable Template

By editing the included configuration xml files you can modify the assets to obtain a brand new and original look for your flash website. Background images and colors, text content, gallery images, navigation buttons are just a few examples of things that you can customize in your template.

Installation instructions

Copy all the files from the package into the same folder. Use the index.html file to open the Flash Template.

To use your own text in the menu, edit the menu.xml file and change the values of name attributes.

To use your own images, go to pages/page_name folder, open the folder of the product that is used and edit the images.xml file with a text editor to define in each row the image path, the url to go to when clicking the image, the target(_self for the same browser window or _blank for a new browser window) and the text between CDATA tags.

To set the Contact Form you have to edit the send_email.php from pages/contact/ContactForm/assets/script/ folder.

Please note that due to Adobe Flash Player's security features, you can not use the Contact Form when you are in fullscreen mode.

I have edited the menu and i would like one of the links to link to my Bigcartel store. how can i do this? I do not mind if it redirects and leaves the website as bigcartel has a “return to site” button on the shopping page. I would like to change lets say “ News” to “Shop” and when you click shop it takes you to anew page which is my store

I am having a problem updating the playlist…

below is my playlist xml file contents:

Hi,

Since you want to use 3 different songs for the background, you will have to edit the header/MP3Player/settings.xml and find these lines:

 <autoStart value="true"/>
<replay value="true"/>
<continuousPlay value="true"/>

You need to change replay to false. All the songs will now play, in random order from the playlist.xml. If you will want to play them in the same succession every time, just edit the MP3 files into one audio track, and revert to the original settings.

I am sorry, but you would need to provide additional information on what you are trying to achieve as your question is lacking details. If by “put the twitter thing off in the newspage” you meant to say that you want to remove the template’s footer component (the one with the social sharing icons for your website) on the “News” page, then the answer is no.

The footer is first loaded when the template loads, but if you wanted to you could use our Custom Work contact form to send a request to modify our template. We will analyze your request and provide you with a price for this custom modification.
