Installation instructions

Copy all the files from the package into the same folder. Use the index.html file to open the Flash Template.

To use your own items in the menu, edit the navigation/menu.xml file and change the values of image, imageOver and imageDown attributes.

To use your own images, go to pages/page_name folder, open the folder of the product that is used and edit the images.xml file with a text editor to define in each row the image path, the url to go to when clicking the image, the target(_self for the same browser window or _blank for a new browser window) and the text between CDATA tags.

To set the Contact Form you have to edit the send_email.php from pages/contact/ContactForm/assets/script/ folder.

Please note that due to Adobe's Flash Player security features, you can only use the Contact Form included when you are not in fullscreen mode.

To enable links, you will need to edit the pages/gallery/PhotoWall/settings.xml and look for this line:
<click value=“expand”/>
and change it with
<click value=“open”/>
This enables the url values for the images in the wall.

About SPARK template.
about the gallery component

In the file “gallery/PhotoWall/images.xml” I’ve done :

<photo image=“images/116.jpg” url=“http://www.google.com” target=”_blank”>
should link to Google
</photo>

but the link doesn’t work. Click on the picture do not open the new page.

How do i edit the text on this template?

FlashXML Support

Hi,

Our templates are customizable through xml file. So, if you want to change the text, you need to edit these files. For the home page, you can change the text from banner by editing the pages/home/AccordionBanner/images.xml file, and the text under the banner can be changed from pages/home/Spacer/text.xml, and so on.

Hi I recently purchased the Spark template, and I need help with creating drop down menus. There were no editable fla files included in the package, only swf. I’m using Adobe CS5 and I don’t have a convertor a swf to fla convertor. Can you help me with this? Thank you in advance.

FlashXML Support

Hi,

The templates aren’t editable in Adobe Flash – since all the properties are accessible through the XML files, there is no need for Adobe’s Flash CS5.
This template uses one of our menus as the navigation bar, the Horizontal Pop Menu. This menu unfortunately doesn’t offer sub-menus. If you want, you can request custom work for this template, using this contact form

Greets, I hav a very simple request to ask, I’ve followed your escelent instructions on this amazing termpate for a pet proyect… I just need to add a “gallery” (allready set all that up) BUT I need not a “second component” but a simple SWF file made by myself, somethign of a little slider showing a brief “animation” and that’s it… BUT hwo to accomplish this, I have the swf done exactly to the same messures to the “video” section (1000 × 500 pixels) and just want to insert that inside SPARK, help? many thanks in advance!

FlashXML Support

Hi,

This feature is not really supported by our template.
You could try adding a new folder called video2, put the SWF file there, add it with the menu.xml and components.xml, but I am unsure if this would work. If you want to add a custom animation, you could request custom work, using this contact form, requesting this feature.
