Installation instructions

Copy all the files from the package into the same folder. Use the index.html file to open the Flash Template.

To use your own items in the menu, edit the navigation/menu.xml file and change the values of image, imageOver and imageDown attributes.

To use your own images, go to pages/page_name folder, open the folder of the product that is used and edit the images.xml file with a text editor to define in each row the image path, the url to go to when clicking the image, the target(_self for the same browser window or _blank for a new browser window) and the text between CDATA tags.

To set the Contact Form you have to edit the send_email.php from pages/contact/ContactForm/assets/script/ folder.

Please note that due to Adobe Flash Player's security features, you can not use the Contact Form when you are in fullscreen mode.

How do i edit the text on this template?

FlashXML Support

Our templates are customizable through xml file. So, if you want to change the text, you need to edit these files. For the home page, you can change the text from banner by editing the pages/home/AccordionBanner/images.xml file, and the text under the banner can be changed from pages/home/Spacer/text.xml, and so on.

Hi I recently purchased the Spark template, and I need help with creating drop down menus. There were no editable fla files included in the package, only swf. I’m using Adobe CS5 and I don’t have a convertor a swf to fla convertor. Can you help me with this? Thank you in advance.

FlashXML Support

The templates aren’t editable in Adobe Flash – since all the properties are accessible through the XML files, there is no need for Adobe’s Flash CS5.
This template uses one of our menus as the navigation bar, the Horizontal Pop Menu. This menu unfortunately doesn’t offer sub-menus. If you want, you can request custom work for this template, using this contact form

Greets, I hav a very simple request to ask, I’ve followed your escelent instructions on this amazing termpate for a pet proyect… I just need to add a “gallery” (allready set all that up) BUT I need not a “second component” but a simple SWF file made by myself, somethign of a little slider showing a brief “animation” and that’s it… BUT hwo to accomplish this, I have the swf done exactly to the same messures to the “video” section (1000 × 500 pixels) and just want to insert that inside SPARK, help? many thanks in advance!

FlashXML Support

This feature is not really supported by our template.
You could try adding a new folder called video2, put the SWF file there, add it with the menu.xml and components.xml, but I am unsure if this would work. If you want to add a custom animation, you could request custom work, using this contact form, requesting this feature.

I like very much your superspeed template, But I want to change the menu content, I have already changed the names. But I don´t know how to made the following changes and modifications
1) I would like to modify the Gallery page to include other diferent gallery designs, “3D Box” for example
2) On the same galley issue I would like too, to link every picture (from different products) to a new web page with detailled information about that particular product
3) I would like definetly to eliminate the video component page, and to place instead another gallery products or slideshows, image viewers…
4) I want to change the appearing order of the menu items, but I don´t know how to connect it with their corresponding section, gallery, contact, and so on
On the other hand, I would like to compose or edit a whole template page of my own in order to fit it to my own needs, but I have not found enough information to do it, do you have a mannual or a guide…?
I really apreciate your time and help, have a wonderful day, sincerely: Vicente Noval Plaja

1. To replace or add a new gallery in our templates requires custom work. You can submit a request for custom work here.
2. You can add links to an external page, in pages/gallery/ImageField/images.xml like this:

<photo image="images/101.jpg" url = "" target="_blank">

Power Beauty Soul
</photo>

3. You can eliminate the video page from template by simply deleting the video tag from menu.xml. If you want to duplicate the gallery page, you can follow these steps:
a. Create a new folder in pages (we will call it gallery2), and copy in this directory the content of gallery.
b. Open pages/gallery2/ImageField/settings.xml and update the value of customPath accordingly. e.g: <customPath value=“pages/gallery2/ImageField/”/>
c. Add the new menu item in menu.xml like this:

<mainmenu>Gallery</mainmenu>

d. Open components.xml and add the gallery2 (folder’s name) tag:
<component link="components/ImageFieldFXFree.swf" settingsLink = "pages/gallery2/ImageField/settings.xml" position="TL" paddingH="0" paddingV="0"/>

4. You can change the menu items order in menu.xml.

<mainmenu>Home</mainmenu>

<mainmenu>About</mainmenu>

<mainmenu>Gallery</mainmenu>

<mainmenu>Contact</mainmenu>

<mainmenu>Gallery 2</mainmenu>

Unfortunately we don’t have any manual or guide.

In the NEWS page you can insert an external link in image and text?

In the picture I could not use
</ link>
And I could not in the text using URL </ a> </ head>

FlashXML Support

Unfortunately this feature is not implemented, you can add link just for the news itself, using the link tag.
