Features

Fine art demands fine framing, and art published on the web is no different. Now, some artists are taking this approach and some are not. George Edward Moore once said that a great artist is always ahead of his time or behind it. Our new Monochrome Template is the fore mentioned framing that any art creator or collector so eagerly needs. It embodies awesome features as the Accordion News Reader FX, Horizontal Pop Menu FX, Multilevel Menu FX, YouTube Vimeo Player FX, Basic Mp3 Player FX although the main features of this theme are the galleries. The best gallery components available at the moment with full customisation control, great performance and fabulous style of course. The design is bold and refined, yet it's style never stands out to much thus chipping in on your work. Because at the end of the day it is your work we want to give the royal treatment.

XML Customizable Template

By editing the included configuration xml files you can modify the assets to obtain a brand new and original look for your flash website. Background images and colors, text content, gallery images, navigation buttons are just a few examples of things that you can customize in your template.

Included Flash Components & Galleries:

Installation instructions

Copy all the files from the package into the same folder. Use the index.html file to open the Flash Template.

To use your own text in the menu, edit the menu.xml file and change the values of CDATA attributes.

To use your own images, go to pages/page_name folder, open the folder of the product that is used and edit the images.xml file with a text editor to define in each row the image path, the url to go to when clicking the image, the target(_self for the same browser window or _blank for a new browser window) and thetext between CDATA tags.

To set the Contact Form you have to edit the send_email.php from pages/contact/ContactForm/assets/script/ folder.

Please note that due to Adobe Flash Player's security features, you can not use the Contact Form when you are in fullscreen mode.

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand your comment, and where you’re looking for that image.

The image (I think) used to be called 1.jpg in the original Monochrome. I needed to change its name , for reasons of conflict.

Anyway, it doesn’t make any difference now, as I’ve given up, basically because the site is unstable (I’ve probably made it so), and I’ve come up with other ways.

Thanks and regards,

Hi,

I have removed the line (<image src=”“ url=”“ target=”_self” />) from each “image.xml” file.

That didn’t work, so I removed all instances of the 011.jpg image, and that doesn’t work either. The image keeps appearing!!!

I’ve now been manually through every page (including the js files) of the site, and found nothing that should make this happen.

I’ve previewed the site in Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari, and on all occasions, the same thing appears.

I wish this site was live, then you’d get a better idea perhaps of where my error occurs.

If it should be of any help, I’m using Dreamweaver CS3 to re-build the site.

Regards,

Davod

Hi,

I’m trying to remove the image (011.jpg) at the far-right hand of all pages by changing the “image.xml” files to read <image src=”“ url=”“ target=”_self” />.

When I do a preview in Dreamweaver, the standard image still appears on each page.

It did work at one stage, but now that it doesn’t I’m growing a bit confused!

Regards,

David
