How to use languages that write from right to left with our components

First, you’ll need to use a font that supports characters of the language that you want to use (Arabic or Hebrew).

You’ll find more details on how to embed your own font in our FAQ (Special Characters for FX Components).

Next you’ll need to follow these steps:

1. You could write the text backwards. But this takes some time.

2. Use a program that supports your language and backwards automatically the text.

hello:

in 3d-banner when i use text in arabic the slide show become very sloly

how can i solve this problem

FlashXML Support

Hi,

It seems to be a problem with the text effect when Arabic characters are used. I checked this matter and noticed that 3D Banner should work properly if you will use one of the following effects for text: slides.xml, fades.xml, favorites.xml, rotations.xml. So, open settings.xml and change the value of <textEff> attribute with one of the above.

Hello,
i have a problem with german umlauts. In german you have two points above the letter. (äüö, auo). There is no extra language in adope flash editior. Not possible like Step 2A.
Please help

FlashXML Support

Hi,

While this post is not suited for this FAQ, I will answer anyway. I am guessing you have a component which doesn’t have the embedFonts attribute in it’s settings.xml
First, please make sure you have read/watched the FAQ
You need to add another textbox to the FLA, and then, from the right, from the properties tab, you have special characters. Add the missing characters, extended latin, then re-generate the SWF.
If you can’t add the special characters yourself, please send us your package and we will make the changes for you.
