Flash!? Why bother?

It was my intention to take my time in this article and try to explain why we are so convinced that, in a world that has seen the birth of HTML5, the evolution of Javascript to jQuery, the persistence of Java for web (in the form of JavaFX) and a gazillion (not actually a word, but you get the picture) of other technologies, Flash is still the way to go, if you are looking for highly interactive and customizable “add-ons” to your website.

We’ve actually put a lot of thought into the choice of technology and, although that was a pretty long time ago in IT years, we stand by our beliefs as we did back then. We’ve heard back from some of you with questions as to whether we intended on developing components using other technologies as well and, unfortunately, we do not consider this a viable alternative. At least not yet.
